All the equipment I use
It is obvious that Equipment is an extremely important component to creating Photos or Videos just as the Creative process in itself. As a matter of fact some people even go as far as saying that good equipment makes a good photographer or videographer. I'm not at all of that opinion, but for those who might be interested, here's a list of all the equipment I use and own.
Sony Alpha 7III
Amazing allrounder. Stunning for both Photo and Video.
Sony Alpha 7III/RIII/9 C3EM Battery Grip
Makes you look more professional instantly!
NP-FZ100 Sony Battery
These are essential when shooting video the entire day or when you’re abroad and can’t charge your other battery!
Sony GM 24-70mm f/2.8
My most used lens for paid work. Very versatile!
Sony GM 24mm f/1.4
Sharpest Wide Angle E-Mount Lens out there! I use this for wide shots on wedding receptions and landscapes.
Sony GM 85mm f/1.4
The Bokeh Master, nothing to add!
Sony GM 70-200mm f/2.8
Events, Portraits, Wedding Receptions, … This thing can handle all of that!
Sony Zeiss 50mm f/1.4
My favorite Portrait Lens.
DJI Mavic 2 Pro (Fly More Combo)
Currently the best compact drone in the market! I use this for private but also commercial use when I need to change perspectives.
Sony 64GB Tough UHS-II SD
Undoubtedly the fastest and most durable SD card out there, for every system!a
Sony 32GB SDHC UHS-II SD
The second best SD for Sony Shooters! Using this one regularly for smaller shoots or as backup.
Tiffen 82mm Variable ND Filter
Tiffen being the go to brand for even professional filmmakers definitely is the best choice for variable ND’s. No ‘X’, little to no vignetting, and durable design. Video outside without this? Impossible.
Godox AD600Pro
Best budget alternative for Broncolor or Profoto Lighting. I use this not only in Studio, but also outside, overpowering the sun and creating magical portraits!
Godox XPro-S Transmitter
If you’re looking to get an off-camera flash, you won’t make it work without this.
Peak Design Camera Strap
These are the ‘little red things’ you see on every photographers camera. Just check ‘em out!
Sandisk external SSD 500GB
Super fast, extremely small, and water and dust resistant! Oh, and it stores your files incredibly fast! Using this on on-location shoots to quickly transfer files and clear my SD’s.
Lacie Rugged 2TB USB-C HDD
The notorious Lacie Hard Disks. Very popular amongst Video- and Photographers.
Joby 5K Gorillapod
Had the smaller version before and took lots of sneaker photos with it, but this one is next level! Extremely sturdy for even bigger setups. Very popular amongst YouTubers.
Rollei C6i Carbon Tripod/Monopod
Very light and stable tripod, which can also be used as Monopod. Don’t spend too much on a tripod if you’re almost not using one.
Macbook Pro 13-inch with Touch Bar
13-inch, Four Thunderbolt 3 Ports, 3,1 GHz Intel Core i5 Processor, 16GB Ram, Touch Bar version. Works very good for Photography. For Video I’d suggest to look into a more powerful configuration.
Aputure AL-M9 Pocket Light
Very useful when you just want to create an interesting background for your videos, or use to create soft light on a subject when working with digital artists.
Røde Videomicro
Probably the best on-camera mic you’ll find for this cheap! Perfect if you’re just starting out creating videos.
Røde VideoMic Pro+
Professional shotgun mic for video creators or YouTubers.
DJI Ronin-S
Currently one of the best motorised gimbals on the market! Get smooth footage straight in camera without warp stabilizer.
Apple Airpods
Put these on and get stigmatised. No but really, these have been so important for my workflow, and I use them every single day for working and meditation.
LG 32UD99-W 4K Monitor
Allows me to have opened 4 different windows at once, and monitor all together, and speed up my workflow. Has an USB-C Port so connection from my MacBook to this is done with ease.
Wacom Intuos Pro Small
If you’re really looking to get into portraiture, and are trying to master skin retouching, this is a tool which will speed up your process of either dodging and burning or doing frequency separation!
Sony a7III Screen Protection
It’s important to properly protect your expensive gear.
Neewer 110cm 5 in 1 Reflector and Diffuser
When shooting in very bright conditions or in studio these come in very handy, especially at that price point!
Logitech MX Master 2S
Best wireless mouse you can get for under 80€. Does its job great, and the battery lasts for AGES!
Apple Magic Keyboard
No words: It’s Magic! Battery lasts so incredibly long it’s actually insane.
